WCR adopts Stitch to reduce patient no-shows on Phase III mRNA vaccine trial

West Clinical Research (WCR), a research site committed to providing the highest quality clinical research site experience for patients, has added Stitch to its tech stack. Stitch is fully integrated with WCR's Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) eliminating the manual work needed by WCR’s team to ensure patients turn up ready for every visit.

The partnership started with Luke Snedaker, CEO at WCR, trying to send automated reminders to participants. He had stitched together some general software solutions - however the patchwork system wasn’t quite living up to expectations due to data integration issues, meaning there was still manual work for his team.

He stumbled across Stitch at a conference. Remembering their first meeting, Mike Sterling, COO at Stitch, said:

“I knew there would be a strong partnership when we were so deep in conversation about how Stitch could help with patient engagement that we didn’t even notice the lights going out in the exhibit hall.”

When Luke saw that he could provide patients with beautiful visit reminders by SMS and email, in WCR’s branding, he was bought in as this was the highest quality experience for participants. When he realised that this could be done with full CTMS integration, so it would require no extra work from his team, he was delighted. This meant that all participants were automatically given the information they needed to be ready for their appointments, which replaced time-consuming phone tag and freed up his team’s time. Stitch engages directly with sites to implement the solution across a site’s entire portfolio of studies. This ensures consistent and efficient workflows for sites instead of using different systems or processes for separate studies.

Luke Snedaker, CEO at WCR commented:

“Technology additions to our site need to provide a friction free experience for the participants across our entire portfolio of studies. Stitch gives our participants a user interface that pulls clinical research into this decade; with beautiful design, useful information about their visit, and the ability to give feedback in a seamless platform.”

Jonathan Moshinsky, CEO at Stitch said about the partnership:

“Luke and the West Clinical Research team put the participant first in everything they do. I’m delighted to support them to make the experience on their studies as smooth as possible, while reducing valuable coordinator time spent on manual work, so they can focus on supporting participants and running the trial.”
